Transformation

Celebrate Hope Ministries under its transformational activities and in line with its core objective of initiating household improvement enterprises, championed the development and promotion of coffee growing.

Coffee growing was embraced as one of the lasting ways of building sustainability at individual, household, community, and national levels. This work was started in 2009 and has been implemented in over 260 communities through the mobilization by the local church.

CHM is a Christian non-governmental organization started in 2009 and working towards transforming communities through the initiation of income-generating activities but mainly growing Robusta coffee and adding value through processing, grading, and coffee roasting for beverages.

Since the inception of this work, CHM has developed many coffee farms with a robust community structure that organizes farmers into small village-level groups with local leadership and oversight, the CHM structure has ensured peer support and thus less failure with over 98% success rate. Our 3,000 smallholder farmers are divided into 48 groups.
